Reworking old jewelry
Reworking old pieces is an intimate process.
a way of honouring what once was, while allowing something new to emerge.
Whether it is a ring passed down through generations, a necklace no longer worn, or stones resting quietly in a box, each piece arrives with its own history. My role is not to erase that story, but to listen to it — and reshape it into a jewel that can be worn and lived with again.

THE PROCESS
The first step is a personal consultation, either at the studio in southern Spain or online for those abroad. Together we look at your existing piece, the materials it carries, and the possibilities within it.
We discuss what you are drawn to — your lifestyle, how you wear jewellery, what feels like you now. Sometimes the transformation is subtle. Sometimes it is bold. The direction always grows from the material itself.
Once a design approach is agreed upon, the stones are carefully unset if needed, and the gold or silver is assessed. If additional stones or materials are required, they can be thoughtfully sourced to complement what you already have.

Each piece is handcrafted at the workbench using traditional goldsmithing techniques. I work with the material in a way that honors its nature, and at times I also refine and transform it when needed, in order to arrive at the most precise and true form for each creation. Every piece is one of a kind, and every story finds its own expression.
From start to finish, the process usually takes between 4–10 weeks, depending on the complexity of the commission.

TRANSFORMATION & RENEWAL
This process also allows for intergenerational transformation — bringing a meaningful piece of jewellery and reimagining it into something new, both materially and energetically.

PRICING
Small adjustments or repairs are charged at an hourly rate of €75.
For full redesigns, each piece is individually quoted depending on design, materials, and complexity. Typical transformation projects range between €1,000 – €2,700.
The value of existing gold is assessed according to the daily market rate and deducted from the final price. A handling fee applies to cover the process of working with and refining the gold.
A detailed estimate is always provided after consultation.
